And Then There Were Two
For a short time, I had the privilege of owning goats. They were wonderful! Three females and a male. The females were all pregnant when I got them. These ladies were so much fun and had such personality. I would walk out my front door and they would call to me. "Hello!", "What do you have to eat?". I woke up one morning and one mother had had twins overnight. The next morning, the next mother had the little boy in this painting. He would jump around and play with the twins. So cute! I captured this moment between mother and son one morning and had to put brush to canvas and see if I could recreate the same feeling. I decided to experiment with the knife and see how it turned out. The impressionistic feeling of the knife work with the textures I was able to use makes me happy and even though I had to sell the goats later, I still get the feeling of a mother's love for her first born when I look at this painting.
Yup you captured it well!
You are very talented
