What's in a name - Rustic Green

One of my favorite shapes to make are triangles! They are unique and very versatile. They can be hung on the wall, placed on a bookshelf or a mantle. But, what I love most about them is that I am able to use up all my small scraps to create something unique and beautiful. Minimizing waste in my shop is very important - hence the name Rustic Green.

When I started brainstorming a name for my wood work, I knew I wanted something earthy but also not so prescribed that I was held to one specific thing. I wanted to ensure I was being kind to our planet and not creating more waste. I LOVE all things rustic and old so Rustic came naturally and stuck. My love for plants and the desire to stay true to the environment made Green seem fitting. Rustic Green - I think I like it! (Plus, Green so happens to be my son's favorite color).

So that's the story behind the name and these mini triangles are the result of my efforts to use every piece I can. Plus they are adorable!
