You Thought I Forgot... Right?

Well... okay, okay... maybe I did forget a little? But about 9 pm last night, it all clicked. I felt a surge of excitement. Here all ya'll are whoopin and hollerin about Halloween...

Hey now! October is a full figured month with more to it than one day of dark delights, slutty "costumes1" and the collective loathing of candy corn. October has a lot going on, and if you stop objectifying for that one day, the proverbial "holiday money shot" you'll see that you too can be more than Hallows whore.

Yep, before vows and magic and stepping past the veil... there is time for art. Correction: there is a need to make time for art.

There is my doodle in pen for day one. My goal is to post all 30 of my entries.

What is Inktober???

For those that don't know, Inktober is an event held casually via scouts honor rules, each October. Illustrator, Jake Parker started it in 2009 as a way to improve good art habits.

How it Works...

Inktober rules:

1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).

2) Post it online

3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2018

4) Repeat

Sounds Easy, Ya?
