How to Draw [3] - Fantasy Map Forest

Welcome to another episode of the "How to Draw" series. In this series I'll show you how to draw in easy steps. I believe everybody can draw. In this episode of "how to draw" i am gonna show you how to draw trees and create a forest for your Fantasy Map in easy steps. First step of first trees : Draw little cloud like shapes. It is easy to do, you don't have to be too careful to draw exactly like in the picture. Experiment different shapes.

Then , add little lines to the clouds, and you have it! your little forest. You can expand the forest anyway you like , the important think you have to consider is the perspective. we can only see the top of the trees that are located behind.

For the pine tree, draw triangle like shapes , make it roughly look like a christmas trees. again same principle here , you need to consider the perspective of threes. And add little lines for the body.

You can use the mountains from previous episode and add this trees for a little village drawings. Experiment for different shapes and ideas.
