THE SIX DIMENSIONS 62x100cm Acrylic on wood

This painting started, as they mostly all do, with no plan.

I then started to find six segments on the left that for some reason made me think of the Six Dimension in the "Tibetan book of the dead". I had also worked intensely with the American Book of the Dead in the past that is a similar book, relates more to the western culture.
At that point I started reading though different parts that brought various aspects of the dimensions to me. The colours and the lights and so on...
So, this was a way of once again refreshing my relationship to this knowledge and this is the painting that came from it.
I have some pics by chance of the process so you can see how it developed, just a little.

          Thank you Patschwork. The book is more of an experience than a manual. It doesn´t speak to the intellectual part of us, it talks to the subconscious. Its a weird experience. I have worked a lot with it in the past, I even collaborated in the Spanish translation. Anyway...I recommend it! ;-)

              Very thoughtful and beautiful. The six spheres on the left side are designed with great detailing, and the other spheres on the other sides also carry their very specific meanings beautifully. The coccon/ larvae/ core subject is also painted with very intricate care and your colours are as rich and intimate as usual.
