I made a leather wallet for my girlfriend ❤

She was very happy when she got it :)

I designed and crafted a leather wallet for my girlfriend. Started with several paper prototypes I iterated on. Then I cut the pieces so that the direction of the fibres in the leather would help the wallet bend at the correct places. I then tooled it with a crochet hook. After that I sewed it using a waxed linen thread.

Next time I make something like this I will be using a laser cutter to cut out template pieces for the leather and prototypes, as making the template by hand was very time consuming a bit inaccurate.
