Taos Flight Concept Sketch

I create these initial sketches to help me work out the composition for upcoming paintings. This latest is Taos Flight. The arrangement is coming along nicely. Still have a few elements to work out. Perhaps another sketch or two before I start the final painting.

Below image shows the early stage as I tried to draw what my imagination was showing me. Probably the most challenging part of the process. Trying to create something that has never before been seen is rewarding but sometimes difficult.
