Virtual realities
What weird and complex things may exist in the ever expanding virtual worlds of our creation? Where does the technology end, and the reality begin? If virtual realities ever reach the point where we can not tell them apart from actual reality, what then? Could we ever cross into a virtual realm that is indistinguishable from this one? Is it possible that we already have? How would we know?
Most importantly, what the hell is this thing I designed? I'm thinking some nightmarish digital leviathan who lives under the ocean in minecraft...

The Oculus Rift is essentially the equivalent to the N64 in terms of the introductory products to the new world of VR. Imagine how realistic VR will become in the next 20 years consideration the drastic improvement from the N64 to PS4
