François Auguste René Rodin, known as Auguste Rodin, was a French sculptor. He was born in November 12, 1840 and eventhough he was dead long before I was born, I still love his art. It is interesting to know that Rodin is considered as the progenitor of modern sculpture.
As you may know Le Penseur (The Thinker) and Le Baiser (The Kiss) are the most famous sculpture created by his gold hands. "The Gates of Hell" was his last project that he couldn't complete until his last breath.
Today, If he's still alive, he will be 177 years old great man!
