Bullet Journal Series #1 | Books Read Spread

If you don't know yet, I am a lover of books and stories. I have a collection of both physical and electronic books that have been piling up in my to-read list as the years progress.

When I started earning money, I was over the moon because finally, I can buy brand new books. Books that are newly released and are popular to the bookworm community.

Today, I have a collection of more than 200 ebooks and a hundred or less physical books. And majority of them, I haven't read yet.

Every year, I afix a number of books in my Goodreads Challenge to read all the books in my collection but sometimes, I tend to add a more recent book so the older ones just get pushed to the side.

This time, I am promising to myself that I must read through the books I already have first before adding some newer books to my list. And to keep tabs on the books that I finish this year, I made a "Books Read" spread in my Bullet Journal.

What I did was sketch out the bookshelves and the books first, and then added some cacti for decorations.

I then proceeded to trace them with a 0.4 unipin pen.

I purposely didn't draw the bookshelves full with books because I wanted to draw the books when I already have finished readig it.

So far, I only have read 1 book for this year yet, and that is why there is only one book that is colored.

I hope I can fill this one at the end of the year, hehe.

This post will be the first of my BuJo series and I hope I can continue on with this series as time goes by. I have so many to share and this is just the first. 😊
