Escaping The Time Matrix
Tyme Is Stuck In Time
Tyme wanted to know why there was such a thing as time. Why did we need clocks to tell us what to do? She always had to get up at a certain time to go to school. She could never get everything she wanted to do in the morning done before she went off to school.
Much of what she liked to do was putter around in her cluttered room, she loved being surrounded by all her stuff, which was piled on her floor, dressers, desk, and closet in little neat mounds. Her Mother was always telling her to clean her room in 30 minutes or she would have to stay in her room until it was clean. Tyme loved her clutter and refused to clean it up, she was happy when she was grounded, she could forget time and play with her toys, hats, scarves, books, and art.
One thing Tyme loathed the most, being on time for school. She loved learning but it was no fun always having to be on time.
First thing she had to do in the morning was get dressed for school. She always felt so rushed getting out of bed at 6:30am and it was so hard to pick out an outfit even though all her school clothes were uniforms. She loved to wear scarves and interesting shoes. Her Mom just found a pair of white cowboy boots with heels! All she wanted to do with stare at her cool boots. "Get dressed Tyme, you have 30 minutes before I have to drive you to school!" E said, "yes Mom, I'm getting ready," she heaved a big sigh.
When it came time to put them on she had a horrible time walking in heels. She waddled around like a penguin. "I guess it will take some practice to learn to walk like my Mom does in her shoes," Tyme thought to herself, I love my white boots, which brightened the plain beige jumper she had to wear for her school uniform.
With a pretty white scarf decorated with little funny cartoon cats in different colors, her outfit was perfect!
Tyme's mother reminded her she had to eat and it was 10 minutes before they had to leave for school. Tyme waddled out of her room, the heels of her boots making loud tapping noises on the floor the wooden floor. Her grandmother told her to take the boots off while she ate breakfast. Boots are too noisy for walking around in the house. "People are always telling what to do and what to wear, I bet if I escaped time there would be no one to tell me what to do!"
She wondered if she ignored time would it go away and maybe everyone would go away? Maybe if she understood the workings of clocks she could stop time and step out of it, kinda like walking out of a house. There was a big old clock house in her town that kept the time for everyone. She decided to go explore the House Of Time and see if she could shut it down and maybe that's how she could step out of time.
E is my granddaughter, she is named after me. This picture of E was taken back in March of 2017, I made E jump around until I caught her in mid-air. I can't draw people from an image in my mind. I need either a model or a photo to catch her likeness. E is a wonderful subject to draw and paint. She has a lot of energy and a strong personality which shines.
Everything has its own time, everything needs discipline.
I wonder if discipline and time have to go together? If you removed time you would not need to worry about how long you could practice ...hahaha
You are absolutely right, we have to match discipline and time
@reddust,
This is awesome! Your grand daughter E got a nice X'mas gift from her grand mommy! Excellent painting!
Cheers~
Thank you. @theguruasia, I had a wonderful time painting this picture ;-)
The Chinese tell time by the eyes of the cat, it is said. If they blink, does time stand still? :)
My cat stares at me all the time and when she purrs whilst sitting in my lap I think time does stand still @donnadavisart!
She is beautiful, and may she never feel constrained by Tyme. Your story was quite charming. :)
Poor E is always cutting time short, I am going to teach her how to stretch it out like a rubber band and avoid breaking time and getting a painful snap back when it retracts lololol @onetree!
Cool analogies!
"Much of what she liked to do was putter around in her cluttered room, she loved being surrounded by all her stuff, which was piled on her floor, dressers, desk, and closet in little neat mounds." It seems that you've been at my apartament :D
I adore this story and love it even more when I realize that there is still lovely, little Tyme inside of me. Thank you for reminding me this.
I used to think better when my projects were in piles. However, I married a neat freak and we both had to compromise a little bit. He is more relaxed and doesn't get upset if I forget to put the lid on the peanut butter jar properly or I forget to shut the doors in our house. And I am neater, everything has its place but I still clutter a lot when I create. I keep my creative messes in one spot now. Elisabeth will get my help when it comes to organizing her room but still having a comfy clutter around her study table. I think the clutter bug is genetic lolol @izida!
What if there was no concept of time! Good idea
During meditation retreat I had a couple of experience that took me out of time, there was no me to experience time although there was awareness of the experience. It was truly a strange and stretchy experience. After that I question the reality of time all the time @arkayani!
That must have been psychedelic
it joylous about E, looking pretty good.
The timing of the click is awesome and the artwork after the click is the art of the day....
