I still like the picture even though it was a practice piece. After years of avoiding the human form I am learning how to draw people. I gave this piece to one of my daughters best friends for a present. The picture reminded me of her, kind of crazy and very beautiful.
Oil pastels on mixed media paper. I am still learning how to draw people and I had never used oil pastels. I found the picture I got the idea from on some desktop picture online site. There are so many things I would change now that I have worked in oil pastels and figuring out the human anatomy. This piece was done earlier this year.

Thank you, it's the application of the oiled chalk process I understand now, also I'm getting better at the geometry of the face. Thank you, I am so high on Halloween candy right now, I never eat sugar, I am bouncing off the walls whilst waiting for trick or treaters. Man there is a lot of energy in sugar, I am so going to regret this tomorrow...lolol
