Aegithalos concinnus – It ranges from the foothills of the Himalayas, stretching across northern India through Nepal, Bhutan, northern Burma, Vietnam, and Taiwan. Disjunct populations also occur in southern Vietnam and the island of Hainan. It lives in open broadleaf forest as well as pine forest, generally occurring in middle altitudes. (Wiki)

I drew it from a photo, after Mongolia, on to Nepal!!!

Have you ever seen a photo of a motmot? It's a really beautiful bird. We often saw one species in our yard in Nicaragua. You might enjoy drawing one.
I saved the image and recorded the birds name, the bird is now on my todo list <3 I have many friends in Thailand, Nepal, but know no one in Mongolia. I am sure my Buddhist Vajrayana friends will hook me up with good people once I raise the money for travel, hopefully Steemit will contribute ;-) I want to do a forest retreat in Thailand, tour holy sites in Nepal, and live in a yurt, eat cheese made from horse milk, and visit some Vajrayana Rinpoches whilst exploring Mongolia.
Thailand's on my list too. Given your interest in Mongolia, I recommend The Horse Boy if you like to read; I had a much clearer picture of Mongolia after I read it. It's also a touching true story. I haven't seen the movie version.
