My Interpretation Of Future Spaceships (wip)
Bio-Ships
I worked most of the day fleshing out my organic sentient spaceships. Tomorrow I will work on making areas translucent and give nice jewel like glow to other areas on my spaceships. I like to add that jewel like translucent to just about anything. Keep me away from jewel iPhone games lololol OCD.
I will be toning down the yellow a bit, I just looked at it again, it's a bit too bright...I'll add some purple shadow and more orange which will take the yellow color down to a more mellow golden yellow. Taking a picture of my days work gives me some distance to really look at the piece and watch how my eyes react to the scene. Wow, my computer makes the colors really pop, they didn't look that bright when I was working on it today.

Thank you @allforyou, but nothing is ever perfect. Usually I stop work on a piece when I am tired of adding detail or fixing issues. I though I would finish today but I am still not satisfied with colors, shading and details.....lolollolol

This is one of my favourite pieces @reddust! The colours and the detail are beautiful. I love that the entire area is covered and everything seems so busy yet tranquil at the same time! :)

@tonyr, this is the kind of work I've been doing most of my life, I love science and science fiction.
Me too but I have fallen away from it a bit in recent years since getting rid of my television and I don't read as much as I should. I really enjoy Vernor Vinge's works. If you are not aware of them I would definitely recommend them. They are a great read. Across Real Time is my favourite. :)

I've read hundreds of science fiction books, movies are not really my cup of tea ;-) I am happy with this piece too!

My imagination is stronger than a film can portray. I can be transported to other worlds of a writers imagination through my imagination.
