Building the Template for our "Daily Art" Series

One of the original goals we had in setting up a social media account for the gallery here on Steemit was to create a "Daily Art" showcase.

This is intended both as a glimpse into our process, as well as a "place holder" for ourselves to keep track of the final bits of this somewhat overdue development.

Its purpose: To build our own presence, to add additional exposure for our artists, and to serve as a potential "sales piece."

The current structure we are building includes the following elements:

1. Introduction to "Daily Art"
2. Information about, and photos of, today's item
3. A brief artist's bio
4. How to purchase: including directly from Steemit, through our eBay shop, through our web shop.
5. Listing of previous posts in Series.

Considerations:

We will be using Steemit as the "jump off point" for the Daily Art series. That means all other components of the post must be in place when the Steemit post goes "live:"

1. The current day's item must be "live" in our online shops, so links can be added to Steemit post
2. "Echo" post must be ready to go on our Blogger blog, as well.
3. Follow-up to promote post via our twitter, Facebook page, Google+ feed and Instagram.

We also need to have a system in place to conveniently and easily update our posts if an item sells while the post is active. It would have to be something more effective that just a comment saying "This item has now sold."

Last but not least — because each post will be fairly widely publicized outside Steemit — these posts can also be used as a vehicle to promote Steemit as a social media venue.
