Jiraiya, one of the three Sannin of Konoha Village. He was like a father to Namikaze Minato, that makes him the grand father of Uzumaki Naruto.
He was a pervert, but kind, strong, fatherly and honest.
He died fighting with Akatsuki in the series while trying uncover the secret of Akatsuki.

He was, without a doubt worthy of praise. Without his support, Naruto might not have come to be the strongest shinobi who ever lived.
