That outfit looks majestic! Me likey. The combination between the majestic-looking outfit and the vicious lion headdress is perfect.
Also, I really love these black lines shading style that you always do, the sharp shadows (is that the word I'm looking for?). Most artists I know would go for smooth shading and lighting and gradient, you know what I mean. Not saying that's a bad style, I'm just saying I never know this kind of style would be this cool. You must be a special kind of spoder...
Thanks, @rainite :D Such nice words * ___ * I appreciate <3 <3 <3
Oh, the cross hatchings or the black area? I kinda miss doing stark inking style since I haven't done it in a long time so I plunged into this series, wanting to do this style :D
I'm a special kind of a silly spoder, alright !!! HOORAY ME :D
Crosshatching! I just learnt a new word, hah! XD
That's what I meant, your crosshatching technique. I'm not sure what stark inking is, though, but I think it's the crosshatching. And I also like the black background too, because of the crosshatching around the character that gives the border between the character and the dark background.
Yeah, crosshatching is a thing that a lot of ink and pencil artists do :) Some professionals can be really expressive with them ! I am just a learning spider, but I do enjoy doing the cross hatches as they can be pretty zen to do * ___ *
Stark inking is using black in the boldest form, and mild inking is letting the white / uninked spaces breathe more, basically :)
