Work in Progress: Dark Wolf.
This is almost done. I'm going to do a little bit of airbrushing and also add a couple little stars in there. It's a different sort of gift for my young niece. I thought at first, I will make her a painting. But what I have decided to do, is to make the painting itself a contingent gift. If I sell it before September, I will split the proceeds with her. If I don't, she'll get the original. Normally, I wouldn't worry myself with trying to sell something meant as a gift, but this kid is more interested in money than art. She likes art, but it doesn't speak the way money does. Preteens!
I meant to split my time up yesterday between projects, but I ended up working on the one all day. Today, I don't think I'll have time to do much work. I made a dinner date with a client to help him curate his walls with art he already has collected. He has only one arm, which poses challenges to putting nails in the wall if one does not own a nail gun. Not to mention threading the work of some of the art he's collected. Not from me. I'm a good artist. I almost always remember to make sure it's ready to hang before it leaves my home.

This is very special to me - I love it.
I have four wolves tattooed on me and Lone Wolf on my knuckles.

Thank you very much, @shameonyoubane! The wolf spirit must be strong within you. They're such beautiful creatures. :)
good job.. Keep it up. I resteemed
Thank you very much, @evelyniroh! :)
What a great work maam.
Thank you sir.
I wonder for how much can you sell a good piece of art?
It's a business! I go by square inch. I have a calculation system. This one is 20x24" and will be 775 CAD. :)
Waaaaat. You must be a billionaire now???
LOL! If everything sold right away, I would be doing great, sure. But there's lots of waiting. Some pieces take years to find a buyer. :)
Do you have your personal web page with all of the works or something like that? Or acquaintances with owners of galleries? I wonder what do you need to live as an artist. Hmmm.
It's tricky! My website is still being worked on. The links at the bottom should be to my collections of art on social media.
I know a few gallery owners, but elasticity is the key ingredient. I'm working on a clothing line now. Something more affordable to the 99%. :)
I mean, if you love what you do and good at it... Artist website is not that expensive, time-consuming or hard to make (just sayin...) Good webpage can be your business card and advertisement.
Owww... you've got some elasticity hehe, niice! :d
Oh snap! I walked into that one! :D
I do have someone working on it. I have the vision, but not the mental energy to make it myself. :)
Amazing work!
Kinda reminds me of my dog.
Thanks for sharing & Steem on :)
Thanks @jcsteem! I will! :)
Doing great, actually hope that your niece gonna get this instead of someone else.
Big heart you have Rachel !
And painting is likely as well :)
Thank you @hqmafa420! It will be a winning situation either way. If someone comes along who appreciates this more than I think she will, she'll still be very happy with the outcome. :)
Nice post. Followed you. Please follow me.
