Another Little Resin'd Gem!

This piece doesn't photograph much differently from how it did before it was coated. It's visibly very lustrous and shiny now, but I wasn't able to get that into the photo. However!! You can see from here that I have added a three-dimensional detail! The glass at the heart of my beast is embedded in resin and will stay there forever. This pleases me.

Last night was the opening for Artusiasm's SUMMERFEST show. It was great. My work got lots of love, I gave many a card away. Pleased. I'll be very happy if anything sells, but as ever, I have no expectations. Pictures will come. I didn't end up taking any of my own, but lots and lots were taken, so I'll share something soon.

And tonight, is Mikey's final performance in this run of We Will Rock You. I have to go get a couple things - flowers for the director, a gift for Mikey. It's going to be a great night.

Tomorrow we're back to the old grind again.
