A Portrait.

This is a portrait of a lovely person who passed away this year. Pretty early on in the pandemic, but not because of the pandemic.

I wish I could call her a friend, but I was more of an acquaintance. She was someone whose outlook on life I truly admired. I think we had a good mutual respect, we just didn't spend much time together.

I haven't heard back from the person who commissioned the painting yet, but I think he'd want to know that Kaarina is being remembered far and wide.
