A Poll I Tried to Take Yesterday.

I sold this piece last year, in March or so, to a friend of mine. I finally got to see his place when he and his partner invited a couple people over for dinner. There were many pieces of my art there! It was almost like a shrine. There's no feeling quite like that, as an artist. Completely different from walking into a place and the walls are covered in pictures by you, than of you. Not that the latter has happened to me. Just a guess.

Anyway, this guy came up because I was trying to increase engagement and get a feel from my online supporters what was the most popular and successful piece/style of pieces. But there was no consensus whatsoever! Everyone liked something different, from different eras, different series'. I'll take it as encouragement to keep doing my own thing, since there is no one thing I do that pleases any majority.

It was nice, too. I'm very grateful to my friends for the emotional support, not just the business. :)
