Part 3 of the INNER DEMONS series.
DestructoDemon is the demon of Discomfort, Aversion, and Hate. The symptoms can show up as anger, hostility, wishing harm or suffering upon another person... self-destructive habits & behaviors... or the voice inside your head that says you're never going to be good enough.
With aversion, we habitually resist, deny, and avoid unpleasant feelings, circumstances, and people we do not like. We want everything to be pleasant, comfortable, and satisfying all the time. This behavior simply reinforces our perception of duality and separation. Hatred or anger throws us into a vicious cycle of always finding conflict and enemies everywhere around us. When there is conflict or perceived enemies around us, we are endlessly occupied with strategies of self-protection/self-preservation or revenge. We can also create conflict within ourselves when we have an aversion to our own uncomfortable feelings.
With hatred and aversion, we push away our own inner feelings of fear, hurt, loneliness, and so forth, treating these feelings like an internal enemy. With the poison of hatred, we create conflict and enemies in the world around us and within our own being, bringing forth destruction.
We eliminate unwholesome mental attitudes and replace them with virtuous, wholesome attitudes which benefit ourselves and others. To gradually subdue the poisons of greed, hatred, and delusion by cultivating the alternative mental factors that are directly opposed to them.
To practice being content in every moment, regardless of what is happening around us. To flow and work with reality, rather than opposing it. To make kindness, compassion, acceptance, understanding the upmost importance when regarding our speech and actions. The way we live our life will become a harmonious dance. Only then, will we rise above these lower vibrational entities, and save ourselves from the Demons of Destruction.
