This character piece is for a client's custom tee. The words: ELEVEN LIVES will go directly under the drawing. On the sleeve will be the show's title customized to fit the client's name in the center. In the next follow-up post I will show the mock-up of the t-shirt design. It's going to look pretty rad!

Less than one month ago, I knew nothing about the Netflix series. I found out about it during the days leading up to the premiere of IT. One of the young stars is from the show... but listening to him talk about STRANGER THINGS during interviews and how it was similar to THE GOONIES, I just had to check out a trailer of the first season. Safe to say it got me mad curious. So, I put it on via POPCORN TIME and nearly 7 hours later, I binge-watched the entire first season.

To anyone who hasn't heard or seen the show and is a fan of the 80s, you will not be disappointed. The series is a love letter to movies such as: THE GOONIES, POLTERGEIST, ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, E.T., and many more. It's set in the early 80's so that magical, innocent vibe is lived out through the tweenagers, clothing, set pieces and music.

Anyway, Season 2 premieres on Oct. 27th, less than 2 weeks! From the trailer we see that the tweenage gang is back and it's Halloween. What do the quartet dress up as? Here's a hint: Something strange in your neighborhood, who do you call?
