Recently, I was looking for some authentic notes for Programming logic & I came across Donald Knuth's work, I am beyond impressed by his books. I will try to study it & get the quintessence of the Art of Computer Programming. I would personally read & understand it.

You should definitely send me a resume if you can read the whole thing," said a quote from Bill Gates on the cover of the third edition of the first volume of The Art of Computer Programming by Donald Knuth.
When the 1st volume of "The Art of Computer Programming" came out in 1962, it was the only book to take a deep look into the math and science of programming. Knuth has made this his life's work, and has said that it'll be a 7-volume set before it's done.
You should definitely check out his work.

U do a good post but for the knowledge if u chose virtual university book for programming best books in the world for programming . I can relational database . I can work on c# i have a grip on qurey wrting but i m not a good programmer
