I had the wacom intuos 3 for many many years. The bamboo now is the same as the old intuos 3. I changed to wacom last year but I change back to intuos recently. It is a lot easier for me to do it on the tablet instead of the screen one.
You might be making a real sense here, I have never actually worked with any on screen tablet, maybe that's why I idolize them. Its just so cool seeing others work with it.
