Free Admission - TOUR OF THE OLDEST COLLECTION IN FLORIDA - Free Admission
THIS IS NO CHEAP ARTSY SMARTSY ART TOUR even though it's free it's rare and refined and you don't have to dress up for it. Are you ready? Chill > kick back > and let's get some old timey culture!
The Cornell Fine Arts Museum has one of the oldest collections in Florida and the Museum can blow their horn for having more than 5,000 objects from antiquity to the contemporary.
The broad and eclectic holdings of the Fine Arts Museum includes the only Old Masters collection in the Central Florida area. > this include over 500 paintings, from the 14th through the 20th centuries > over 1600 works on paper (prints, drawings, and photographs) > and objects, artifacts, and archaeological fragments from world cultures. The Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College Mission Statement is a teaching museum that uses hands on engagement with works of art while combining art education into daily life for the Rollin's campus and Central Florida's community.
There was more but for now I'll give your eyes a rest and close the tour from here. I hope you enjoyed the blast from the past and come back again.
