The song "Pool Shark" lyrics have another meaning. Bradley James Nowell, former lead guitarist, singer and songwriter for Sublime died way too soon.

Bradley quit and relapsed on herion 11 times and often compared artificial drugs to plastic meaning that they are man-made. Bradley loved Reggae and made it his own. Rastafarians denounce 'plastic' drugs but they believe in the power of natural herb. He's broken, in pain, and lying in a bed of this powerful 'plastic' drug.
One of the most moving songs of all time... Bradley was found alone in a trashed motel room. He was dead on the floor with louie dog (his dalmation) licking his face.

Such a shame and terrible loss! Right after his death and still to this day is when sublime really got popular. He started a whole new genre of music-American Reggae...just ask Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Rebelution, The Green, Fortunate Youth, Stick Figure, The Movement,The Dirt Heads, Tribal Seeds and many many others!
