ABQ Street Art: Acme Salvage Yard I
Tucked into the urban center of this great city, there lies a salvage yard that permits local street artists to display an ever changing array of spray painted art. I hadn't ventured to the Acme yard in over a decade, but today, curiosity over came me and I stopped by to see what new art had popped up in the years of my absence.
Almost every inch of this place is covered in color. It's dizzying effect is also somewhat beautiful.
This (big) little bird was an ode to an artist's father.

Of course, this spray painting Toad was fantastic to see.
The Acme yard goes on for miles of awesome color, so if you are anything like me and love to meander through these unofficial outdoor galleries, be sure to check this one out if you are in Albuquerque. It's located off 2nd street, just north of Montaño.

I so agree. And so do the owners of the salvage yard, they invite the artists to participate.
The owners are so nice and so generous and the artists also must be super happy.
I give 100 % credit to this kind of painter and @pinkspectre because this kind of work can not be done by a minor painter and we saw this kind of painting only because of the @pinkspectre. i have not seen the whole world, but whatever i have seen is due to @pinkspectre itself. thanks pinkspectre.

no doubt not all graffiti is vandalism, there are very good works of art
Wow. What a colorful yard! It is interesting to see how these artists painted miles and miles of a yard. Thanks to the thousands of artists behind these paintings.
