Making a Latex Catsuit a la Catwoman - Part 6

in #art8 years ago (edited)

I already mentioned the zipper at the upper part of the body. A significant difference is the structure both materials are made of. There´s the zipper, which is basically made of textile and the latex rubber. So we have 2 different elements which have to embrace each other.

The solution is rather simple. The textile gets rubberized by a rubber solution i use to glue the pieces together.

By using a brush the rubber-solution is applied to the side parts of the zipper´s textile. The more the better. It´s best to do it multible times. So the solution reaches the inside of the cloth and of course the surface which is supposed to stick to the latex of the catsuit. Just like that.

After the glue dried it´s almost invisible. But it´s there. It has just got translucent. The latex of the catsuit part has also got some glue and sticks perfectly to the rubberized zipper now. As the zipper progresses to cement to the latex I use to glue other parts together right next to it :-)

See you in PART -7
