Finally, it's time to show you all one of my creative artworks. I was actually planning on drawing a portrait of Rihanna, but then I muddled it up. Then I closed my eyes and saw a face, a beautiful one indeed. I got inspired, then it all started.

I will discuss with you guys how I drew the picture step by step with pictorial illustrations.

The tool I'll be using is a ball point pen which helps a lot in the type of shading I have in mind. It really brings out the elegance of my work.

The Rough Sketch

Before starting, I give a rough outline of the image with my pencil which will definitely not show in the final work. The rough outline I'm about to draw makes sure that the anatomy of my drawing is right.

The Mapping

Then, I map out the face with the use of my ball pen, I start by shading lightly with my pen from light to dark. I use a sheet of paper to prevent the ink from smudging because of the nature of the pen I'm using.

Highlighting the eyes

This part always gives me problems whenever I'm drawing. I had to concentrate fully and I was finally able to bring out the beauty of the picture by drawing these breathtaking eyes.

Shading

Cross hatching technique is the method I used for this shading. It's way too easy for me to control and manipulate.

It took a lot of time to properly bring out the hair. At a point, I actually felt that the hair would bring out the beauty, but then I was wrong. The eyes clearly brought out the elegance of the drawing.

Indeed, she's pretty.

Final Image

Observing the radiance in her eyes motivated me to write this short peom. Do enjoy.
