ERDA

Erda is a painting I made in 2004. In every culture and mythology there are earth gods and sky gods. Its an attempt to humanize our surroundings and this is my interpretation with the earth looking old and wise covered in clouds or cobwebs and half human, half animal creatures. The sky character is mysterious and ethereal riding on a cloud. The original is a 7 ft tall painting but prints are available in all sizes.
