Let Your Light Shine - Original Painting

So I made a lil promise to @adammillwardart that I would post this piece up today, so here it is.

Now a lot of people see this as a Pink Floyd inspired painting, and I totally get that! I will say, however, that I had another intention. This painting is titled “Let Your Light Shine” and it’s meaning is that any of us can be a prism to spread light to the world. I painted this towards the close of some of the darkest months of my life. I wanted to be someone who could embody light and color in a world that often seems kind of bleak. I don’t always succeed, but I try as hard as I can and keep this goal in mind constantly. This painting is my favorite concept I have ever painted, and is very meaningful to me. I’m happy to share it with you today. Hopefully it inspires you to be a prism too. :)
