The First Seven Days/ Art Challenge
I just finished my first seven days. I do feel like I have had a very small improvement. I am able too draw more confidently and I understand hair texture a bit more. I still struggle with adding too much pressure too the pencil. And flowy movements. The ends are also very difficult... honestly everything.
Here is the difference between my first sketch and last sketch. There is minor improvement.

As you can see I really struggle with the hairline. It’s difficult. But now I do understand it a bit more. I especially have a hard time with male hairlines. And just their hair in general. I can really only draw ethnic and textured hair for men. I have a hard time drawing straight hair. I don’t know how too add volume and how too make it flip in the front naturally yet.

Tomorrow the 26th I will start with emotions. It will be difficult. But I am excited. Bettering any skill takes time. I do get impatient and feel like I won’t get to where I want to be. But that won’t help me or get me too where I can and will be. Thank you for taking your time to read my 7 day entry. I will be back in the next seven days. So June 3rd.
