Asansol is located in the state of West Bengal, it is an important city in the economy of India, unfortunately for its coal industry.

Asansol is a city full of charm, for those they want to flee the tourists, it's ideal, actually you will have little risk of crossing, they are very rare, people prefer to visit Kolkata.
The market of Asansol is atypical, one has the impression to be in a big village. In the middle of the city full of farm, the peasants are still in the city as it was the case 30 years ago in all the big cities of India, although Asansol is an industrial city and one of the principal shopping malls of India.
The chewing tobacco is very famous, the shops of tissues are as numerous as in Varanasi but more accessible.
The city has magnificent Hindu temples, a huge park "Nehru park".
A center of Mother Teresa is present, unlike Kolkata the center has large space and develops an ecological agriculture.
The inhabitants are welcoming, without being in a village we find the naturalness, simplicity and extreme kindness of Bengalis.
