Greetings to all who follow my art! this morning I present a piece of art, which is certainly my favorite, not only for the time invested but for the great digital finish that presents, yesterday I saw a chapter of my favorite program (faceoff) the concept was to mold and paint a Unknown creature like the goats suck. I went running to the pc I made my quick sketch and I started to give life to my strange creature ... PUT COMFORTABLE AND ENJOY THE PROCESS...

Saludos a todos los que siguen mi arte! esta mañana te presento un pedazo de arte, que sin duda es mi preferida, no solo por el tiempo invertido si no por el gran acabado digital que presenta, ayer vi un capitulo de mi programa preferido (faceoff) el concepto era moldear y pintar una criatura desconocida como el chupa cabras. Sali corriendo a la pc hice mi boceto rapido y empece a darle vida a mi criatura extraña... PONTE COMODO Y DISFRUTA EL PROCESO...

There are four brushes I use in this painting, pastel chalk, oils, diffuser and texture. Son cuatro los pinceles que utilice en esta pintura, la tiza pastel, el oils, difuminador y textura.

WE START / COMENCEMOS

The first thing we will do is create a canvas to proceed to make our sketch, in the first volume I will explain how to configure the canvas, click on NEW.

Lo primero que haremos es crear un lienzo para proceder a realizar nuestro boceto, en el primer volumen te explique como configurar el lienzo, hacemos clik en NEW.

PAINTING WITH CHALKS / PINTANDO CON TIZAS

After seeing the aforementioned program, an unpleasant four-eyed man came to my mind and I started making my sketch using the pen, then I began to paint the silhouette with the pastel chalk. You can see both brushes in the image I show you.

Luego de ver el programa antes mencionado se vino en mi mente un ser desagradable de cuatro ojos y bueno empece realizando mi boceto empleando la pluma, luego empece a pintar la silueta con la tiza pastel puedes ver ambos pinceles en la imagen que te muestro.

The smudge plays an important role to mix the chalk and give it a pasty look because as you can see in the image the pastel chalk has a grainy aspect that you do not want to see on your canvas and this is where the diffuser comes in to remove that texture.

El difuminador cumple un papel importante para mezclar la tiza y darle un aspecto pastoso pues como puedes observar en la imagen la tiza pastel tiene un aspecto granulado que no quisieras ver en tu lienzo y aquí es donde entra el difuminador para quitar esa textura.

It is a job that requires a lot of patience and the most important thing to know how to play with colors I always have my color palette armed which I combine to create mixtures of new colors.

Es un trabajo que requiere mucha paciencia y lo mas importante saber jugar con los colores siempre tengo mi paleta de colores armada la cual combino para crear mezclas de colores nuevos.

Here I show you my color palette, as I go forward I take the dropper with the color that I will apply to the canvas and with the brush I apply this process I repeat it in each stroke so I highlight the great work of painting with chalk.

Aquí te muestro mi paleta de colores, a medida que voy avanzando voy tomando con el gotero el color que aplicare al lienzo y con la brocha lo aplico este proceso lo repito en cada trazo por eso resalto el gran trabajo de pintar con tizas.

HOW TO RAISE THE QUALITY OF CHALK / COMO SUBIR LA CALIDAD DE LA TIZA

A esto es lo que me refería una vez realizado un trazo con la tiza pastel puedo aplicar la textura y obtener un efecto mas realista este mismo efecto lo aplicare mas adelante con los oils para tener un acabado digital magnifico, si observas los tres recuadros observas texturas que he creado para el pecho, cara de nuestro personaje.

I already have my concept someday I would like to work with a plastic artist to make the monde of my creations and apply makeup to a model that would be fantastic, see my characters come alive.

Ya tengo mi concepto algún día me gustaría trabajar con un artista plástico para que realice el monde de mis creaciones y aplique maquillaje a un modelo eso seria fantástico, ver cobrar vida a mis personajes.

OILS APPLICATION / APLICACIÓN DE OILS

You can achieve great results with any brush, it's just a matter of experimenting, but all of them have their limitations with pastel chalks. You can not achieve a realistic effect compared to oils, you can see in this image the difference between a brush and another HUGE TRUTH¿.

Puedes alcanzar grandes resultados con cualquier pincel solo es cuestión de ir experimentando, sin embargo todos tienen sus limitaciones con las tizas pasteles no puedes alcanzar un efecto realista en comparación con el oils, puedes observar en esta imagen la diferencia que hay con un pincel y otro ENORME VERDAD¿.

With this image I show you the total hours invested in the chalk vs the total amount invested in oils. You can notice that the illustration took me a little more than 15 hours of work, and although it was a long process, I was satisfied with the result, let's move quickly to the theme of lighting.

Con esta imagen te muestro el total de horas invertida en las tizas vs el total invertido en oils puedes notar que la ilustración me tomo un poco mas de 15 horas de trabajo, y aunque fue un largo proceso quede satisfecho con el resultado, pasemos rápido al tema de la iluminación.

CONFIGURING THE LIGHT / CONFIGURANDO LA LUZ

puedes experimentar con la luz que tu quieras, yo en esta ilustración utilice una luz blanca, configurada con el parámetro que te muestro y que se proyecta desde la esquina superior izquierda, por que¿ fácil da un aspecto misterioso o aterrador a mi monstruo.

DETAIL WITH OILS / DETALLE CON OILS

a super enlarged view shows the detail of the oils, you can observe the texture in the white box I do the same process that explains you with the pastel chalks after applying the stroke with the oils I apply the diffuser and I eliminate those small lines that you see that leaves the brush.

una vista super ampliada muestra el detalle del oils, puedes observar la textura en el recuadro blanco hago el mismo proceso que te explique con las tizas pasteles luego de aplicar el trazo con el oils aplico el difuminador y elimino esas pequeñas lineas que se ven que deja el pincel.

DETAIL OF THE PAINT / DETALLE DE LA PINTURA

You can observe the great details that the image presents in the area of the mouth and eyes, painting the eyes was simple but I really liked doing it for the membranes that I left.

Puedes observar los grandes detalles que presenta la imagen en la zona de la boca y los ojos, pintar los ojos fue sencillo pero me gusto mucho hacerlo por las membranas que le deje.

application 001: alien creature, this creature that bears the name (Zapperg) are grotesque gelatinous creatures that feed on small vertebrates, coming from the planet PK003 of the titan galaxy, they are peaceful and have a primitive language which has led them to communicate with sounds that they make in an accessory of their trachea.

Aplicación 001: criatura alienigena, esta criatura que lleva como nombre (Zapperg) son criaturas gelatinosas grotescas que se alimentan de pequeños vertebrados, provenientes del planeta PK003 de la galaxia de titan, son pacíficos y tienen un idioma primitivo lo cual los ha llevado a comunicarse con sonidos que realizan en un accesorio de su traquea.
