Tree on a hill
View of a tree or a tree with a view?
I went in search for inspiration today, and I think I found my new muse. My new tree muse that is! On a hill surrounded by the soft grasses, purple heather and ferns was this beautiful tree . It's branches swept and curved as if being blown by the wind.

I sat on the ground and created my initial drawing in my sketchbook using a black drawing pen.

Have a great day!

That is absolutely stunning my friend !
Thank you very much- you have gained a new follower, nice blog!
Thank you :)
That's lovely... and what a scenic place to sketch and paint, too.
Yes, lovely and calm.
The tree which you used for inspiration and your drawing seems to symbolise 'standing tall alone' - irrespective of having company or not. The inherent beauty of the form, in the branches of the tree, has been captured in a flowing style in your painting. Well done. I also like your minimalist style of portraying things.. Upvoted. Thanks.

I am continuing to focus on my passion, which is wildlife blogs with my original wildlife photos and my musings about them. Have posted a lion cubs life blog today. I request you to take a look if you have time. Your comments would be very welcome.
Thank you for those observations @vm2904
Came back to your blog for "tip-off" inber and have not regretted. You are so easy to draw. Not in terms of speed. But in terms of lightness of Your watercolors. Gladly subscribed on You=)))

I really like your interpretation of the tree. One close to your home?
