Pebbles on the shore
I love looking down at the pebbles beneath my feet. The subtle greys, blues, yellows and pinks glowing gently in the sun. I made this watercolour painting of the beautiful pebbles I saw when walking along the beach.
These pictures were taken of the pebble ridge at Westward Ho! North Devon, UK. I was attracted to the colours and veins of white running through some of the pebbles.

Ive collected rocks ever since I was a kid. I live near the ocean now and when i go to the beach i collect sea glass.
@opheliafu - the detail of the stained stones and moss/leaves are absolutely exquisite. What was your technique to get the colors to bleed as they did?
