Grow to the sun
Beautiful warm spring days are a reminder of the emerging life at our feet.
Seedlings pushing up through the soil. Fresh green saplings turning towards the light. The unfurling fern frond opens out like a caterpillar uncurling. Leaves bathed in sunlight.
I sat in the warmth of the morning sun and drew this piece. I was inspired by the sunlight hitting the leaves as they raised their heads to the crisp blue sky. The flower beds in my garden seemed awake with life and energy.

I love cold nights, hate being got in bed. Dreading the summer as starting to go through the menopause getting hot flushes... there not nice :(
