Blossom
In full bloom!
I have two young apple trees in my garden. For the past two years one of the apple trees has given me a modest harvest of apples, but the other one wouldn't even blossom in spring. I had to have a stern talk with the tree that refused to bear fruit, I was relying on it for apples this year. If it gave me another year of no fruit it would have to go as I my garden is pretty small and I needed the space for another fruit tree.
Well that young apple tree obviously listened as this year it is covered in blossoms, much more than the other tree. It's taught me to have more patience with my garden. I never know what surprises it might have in store!
Hopefully the blossom is a good sign of a potential harvest later in the year, but in the meantime it's giving me plenty of inspiration whilst I sit and paint.

Now singing would be a better idea. Tie a yellow ribbon round the odd oak tree and you can dance to it too
