I used to paint outdoors, not anymore!

Some years ago, I liked to go and paint outdoors. It was not a confortable experience at all! Carrying all your painting stuff around, cleaning brushes later on...

But I somehow liked the challenge of educating your eye to look for that particular spot that caught your attention. I rarely go outside now; my painting process has evolved in a direction that I would rather now spend time at the studio. 

Of course, inspiration is all the time out there! Now I prefer to bring with me little cardboards, papers and glue. And get inspired by the atmospheres and the emotions they evoke me the places I visit.

Hace algunos años, me gustaba ir a pintar al aire libre. No era una experiencia confortable en absoluto! Llevar todas tus cosas de pintura, limpiar pinceles más tarde cuando estás en medio de la montaña puede ser un poco pesado!

Pero de alguna manera me gustó el reto de educar mi ojo a buscar ese lugar en particular que llamara mi atención. Rara vez salgo afuera ahora. Mi proceso de pintura ha evolucionado en una dirección que me hacer preferir pasar tiempo en el estudio.

Por supuesto, la inspiración está todo el tiempo por ahí! Ahora prefiero traer conmigo pequeños cartones, papeles y pegamento. Y inspirarme de las atmósferas y las emociones que evocan los lugares que visito.

¡Publicaré pronto sobre estos pequeños collages ...!
