Yes, several times I've met this idea that legs and feet symbolize our decisions, our choices. And legs linked to the theme of destiny. People who are engaged in alternative medicine know that when people complain too much on destiny, they have problems with their feet.

And this very theme - the individual and society is eternal, I think. How to be yourself, but not to oppose yourself to society? How not to lose yourself and to cooperate with others?

In many cultures of the world, particularly in Russian culture, it was common joint choral folk singing. People simply gathered together in the evenings and sang. I've seen it in some Russian villages when I was a kid.

This choral folk singing is an amazing way to find yourself, while remaining harmonious part of the community. In Russian folk singing you can sing as you want, sing as your soul sings, but stay in harmony with others. These songs help you to discover your own character, your deep nature. But at the same time you also enrich the community.

It is a good tradition to sing together. I am sure that in many countries it was practiced before. Although perhaps now there are still many places where this is going.
