In my country we don't have winter but during the Xmas season it tends to be so cold. I love the charcoal drawing, it is so nice. The old man with the head warmer and his coat, this shows that it is cold and chilling. I said old man because of his white beards
You are right @tutufaith, he was a man in the middle ages but i let his beard white, that gives the portrait more charisma :))
Snowflakes falling from the sky drifts further by an by and flowers will bloom as winter passes by. Nice blog and artwork! I wish I could also see a clearer view of people.

i saw that you paint in colour @art-mess. colour paintings are difficult. i know it from a friend. he sometimes work days on a colour painting... black and white, graphite or charcoal or with both, is there easier as to paint with oil :)
