A Red Rose - From my 💓 to yours.
I'm back to learning how to use this tablet and trying to draw... My grandfather used to have a gorgeous rose patch in front of his home. I remember him carefully pruning them every year. I got to help him with the cleanup on many occasions. Anyways, I drew this for you, I hope you like it! ~@Odrau

I recently made a post about the meaning of red roses in particular... It is precisely now the right time, they are in full bloom at this moment typing... I love the way the unfurl... And they're a reminder that we must passionately follow our dreams. By the way... I need to sit down and tame my drawing tablet too!
You should! Drawing is so much fun! It's a great way to express yourself. It is very relaxing and meditative. I don't know if I did the rose much justice, I had no reference material, so hopefully it looks something like the real deal - but if not I guess that's fine too. That post about the meaning of roses sounds interesting, I will definitely have to give it a read. Thank You @yidneth, hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.
Oh, I have a couple of commissions so I must, I am an illustrator, been for a long time, but I'm more used to traditional media... been switching to digital but I still struggle, specially after stopping after a while. But now I must, so sigh, sitting down :) hope to share some art these days!
Fancy you should say so... I've recently opened up a small discord for artist! It's a pretty laid back group with artist of varying styles and skill levels. I myself am new to art, so I'm learning the basics and finding my style. Sticking to mainly sketching for now. sure I need to sort out my discords a bit... it's become unmanageable... I also have a server, but I only use when I go on dlive concert. I'm only in one artists discord steemartists I think it's the largest and really kind community, but I honestly need to sit down and do more drawings, when I start posting art sure I'll stop by :)
