Dreaming in Black & White, part 2

I have spent hours uploading and combining pictures & styles in the Deep Dream Generator. Some of the results, using fractals I posted here, can be seen in my older post, Dreaming in Black & White (part 1)..

I have found a specific style that does the trick for me, producing beautiful pictures in black & white, with complex patterns and harsh lines; at least, that's how I see them. I use a simple Thin Style for the dream - it is easy to setup, it renders quickly and I get dreams like these:

So, here are some of my latest fractal posts, in black & white dream mode:

Thank you, this publicity is needed and much appreciated!

Love these! I see a lot of interdimensional gates opening up in these :) The base images were fractals for all of the above?

I have been geeking out HARD on deepdreamgenerator for the past year myself. My current process is to start with a texturaly interesting base image (macro photo of water ripples, blurry image on grainy paper, etc.), run through deep dream a few times with different style images, combine those outputs on different layers in photoshop, mirror and crop the output from photoshop and take that new crop as a new starting image back to the deep dream generator and repeating that entire process. My last series I went over 30 recursions deep (final images are composed of more than 30 trips through the deep dream generator). I got some really trippy results:

Wow, that is a great post you linked here! I saw the webs on black paper in the video, and was wondering how are they made... then, I read that they are real collected spider webs -- that is awesome!! And the dreams are great too, it is risky to go that deep in recursions because usually I loose all the textures and shapes I like in the image, but you did it very well.

As for my dreams in this post, yes, all the base images are fractals I created with JWildFire (you can use the links for the original fractal posts). Lately I use photos I've taken, and use fractal styles on them but I don't have any results yet that I'd like to show here.

Here is my page in deepdreamgenerator if you'd like to take a look.
