Lindsey is an American artist who graduated in art at the American Academy of Art (Chicago, Illinois), which I recently had the pleasure of discovering! I love the world of painting and also that of the illustration and I am always happy to find new artists to follow!
When I find a new artist I like to run right into his work, if I can live, otherwise I'm limited to the virtual.
Lindsey mainly paints on oil and loves to portray urban landscapes in dark tones, almost dare say Gothic.
Coming from a big city, his works are very influential in the landscaping of the great urban centers, some of his paintings seem to run, like a girl who runs to work, like cars driving fast on the road.
His paint struck me with the strength, the feeling of something running, that escapes.
Fast, urban as a metropolis crowded in continuous motion, with a girl trying to portray it in the firmness of a canvas.
