Mysterious Yohannisdahl - Ghost town of Ingermanlandia./Загадочный Йоханнесдаль – исчезнувший город Ингерманландии.

A long time ago, when Peter the Great was not born yet (the 1st Russian imperator, who had conquered the North of European) and the North of Europe still belonged to Sweeden, and was called the Ingermanland, there lived a Governor-General Johan Schutte. 

Давным давно, тогда когда Петр Первый ещё не прорубал окон в Европу, когда ещё север принадлежал шведам и назывался Ингерманландией, жил-был генерал-губернатор Юхан Шютте. 

                         

He had found the city Yohannesdal at the south-west of the modern St. Petersburg. It was a town on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. Many travelers visited the town, there records  describe in detail the life of that time, they entered Yohannisdahl to the maps. The Governor-General was old and went back to Sweden where soon he died in 1645. Strange, but since that time there was no mentions of the mysterious Yohannisdahl. The town was lost, people said that the baron took his Yohannisdahl with him into the other world.

К юго-западу от современного Санкт-Петербурга он основал город Йоханнесдаль. Это был не большой городок на берегу Финского залива. В город приезжали путешественники, они описывали быт того времени и нанесили город в карты. Генерал-губернатор состарился, покинул Йщханнесдаль и отправился на родину, где вскорости умер (в 1645 году). Самое странное, что с тех пор никаких упоминаний о Таинственном Йоханнесдале нет, поговаривают, что барон забрал его с собой в иной мир.

                                                          

The story or legend of suburb of St. Petersburg gave its name to the new craft beer that was brewed by Hop Head craft brewery. It should be noted that was very delicious heady ale with citrus notes, rich taste of which is gaven by a mixture of hops Centennial, Columbus, Amarillo, Simcoe and Citra.

Эта история или легенда окрестностей Петербурга дала название новому сорту пива который решили сварить мои друзья из Петербургской крафтовой пивоварни Хоп Хэд. Нужно заметить что получился очень вкусный хмельной эль с цитрусовыми нотками, насыщенный вкус которого ему придала смесь хмелей Centennial, Columbus, Amarillo, Simcoe и Citra

            

I love all these mysterious  legend and decided to draw the Governor-General, together with his city, the life of the vanished city ruled by the deceased Baron. I did some sketches practicing drawing costume details and when the composition was set I began to work.
Я люблю все эти загадочные городские легенды и решил изобразить генерал-губернатора вместе с его городом, жизнь исчезнувшего города, которым правит покойный барон. Я сделал несколько набросков, отрабатывая детали костюма покойного и когда композиция была задумана, приступил к работе. 

  

                      

I take my work very carefully, coming up with the label in such way that it is not only contains information about the composition and the brewery but could also decorate the interior, tell the mysterious story.

Я очень тщательно отношусь к своей работе, придумывая этикетку таким образом, чтоб она не только содержала информацию о составе пива и производителе, но и могла бы украсить интерьер, передать загадочную историю.

                                  

I must say, that I am glad, that with my craft beer labels becomes a sort of inspiration for photographers.

Должен сказать, что я рад, что пиво с моими этикетками становится, своего рода, вдохновением для фотографов.
