Creepy girl art + process

Hello everyone, i want to show you process of painting this scary girl. Well, its not like i documented it but i was regulary drawing over new layers so somehow i managed to reproduce this process.
Everything started with this bad one studying values on woman face (you guys have no idea how far it is from reference)
Then i added hair, eyes, etc. and tried to bring from it face of reference image. At this moment i didnt have in mind doing something creepy i just wanted to practice.
This time i worked bit in nose area and again tried to put out shape of reference photo from her. And i again messed it up, at this moment i give up working on it for something like week.
I knew she looks more creepy than cute girl that i referenced, but at this moment i come with idea to turn her in to something like zombie during resurrection. So i added some blue color and green light. This looks even worse than on previous stage.
But making everything black and lowing opacity works like magic. At this moment that was soemthing what i had in mind, so lets add more green light.
Yeah, thats work with rest of picture. At this moment i thought " This need some particles looking like necromancy magic"
And i come up with simple particle brush from medibang and just smudged it with smudge brush. Yup thats looks good. But whats make it even better?
You are right, more green light. At this moment i was finished with my work, so my next actions was simply just adding some filters and cuting unused space and clearing sketch parts.
