Autism is a spectrum of disorders characterized by severe, permanent and profound developmental deficits. It affects socialization, communication, imagination, planning and emotional reciprocity, and evidence of repetitive or unusual behaviors. Symptoms are generally the inability to interact socially, isolation and stereotypes (uncontrolled movements of a limb, usually the hands).

Despite this, many succeed in breaking their own world and can communicate with the outside world in some way, for example through drawing and painting.
