I especially love the way you didn't over-exaggerate the eyes on the aliens. (At least, they look like aliens to me. Sorry if they aren't!)

They're cute, but also seem like they'd be more realistic over the more traditional huge eyes we see in most cultural representations.

aliens all the way, don't worry hahaah
and i totally agree, no reason for huge eyes, unless they evolved on a planet that orbits around a dimmer star, then it could work i guess (:

Or if they're on a planet that doesn't rotate on an axis, and they occupy the dark side of it. Though I suppose there could be other evolutionary reasons for eyes like that, I think in pop culture they're there to separate them moreso from ourselves. To emphasize that we aren't the same.

However, there are plenty of people that actually work in the scientific field that say if Grays/Zeta Reticulans actually exist, they're most likely either some form of genetically engineered beings, outright robots/androids, or are possibly from Earth from a very very long time ago and had to leave for whatever reason but still keep an eye on the planet.

Their anatomy overall is too similar to ours to be a 100% different species from us and originated from a different place.

Personally, I don't feel that way. I mean, they thought that nothing could live deep in the ocean. Just like I don't agree that there can't be life on Pluto because it's too damn cold. It's only "impossible" based upon our extremely limited knowledge about life. I mean, the only true examples we have are other things here on Earth.

I think they're being complete asshats by trying to compare potential life on other planets to life here on Earth, and by saying that nothing could survive in certain environments. Earth is all we truly know, just because we exist here the way we do, doesn't mean other potential lifeforms out in space have to conform to our beliefs about life.

Annnnnd I'm rambling now. Sorry! ^^''

ramble on my friend! its whats fun about it, nobody knows, we can all ramble haha, and like the t-shirt says i too want to believe! and since you're speaking no evil.. ((:
and sure nothing has to conform to our beliefs, that's a fallacy. on the other hand it makes sense to look in the more "life friendly" places -
goldilocks zone, liquid water and such characteristics definitely increase the chances of finding something relatable or even intelligent.

The T-shirt was originally a poster. :3

I really don't believe in the Goldilocks zone. I think the reason these things "exist" are to comfort the poor little scientists that can't cope with the idea that life has no true limitations and restrictions.

what does it mean to believe in the goldielocks zone? its not really a belief as much as an expression of the probability of life evolving there. i don't know about you but my hopes are for finding intelligent life, not just some microbes & viruses. and complex life seems to have some comfort requirements. if you look on earth we have extreme conditions too, and there is life in those enviorments, but very simple life

Yes, but that's here on Earth. On Earth, intelligent life has some comfort requirements. But intelligent life on other planets probably doesn't have the same comfort requirements that intelligent life on Earth does.

Ultimately, we are all products of the environments on Earth.

Let's not forget all the "it's impossible for any form of life to survive in X environment"and how pretty much every single time, they're proven wrong.

I'm very certain that the reason why we haven't found intelligent life (if we really haven't, as that's another rabbit hole) is because we're so obsessed with the Goldilocks Zone that we just don't look on planets that aren't perfectly within in.

They found microbial life on Venus, which is supposed to be impossible.

Sure, finding microbial life might not be terribly exciting at first, but it's still life. So we should keep looking into it.

Hey, would you mind if I used one of these images in a post? I'll credit and link back to you.

hey @novaatebatman, sorry for the late reply, been afk
what post would that be? i don't mind if its not something offensive haha
have a good one

When you talk about aliens, there will always be people that get offended.

hahah why do you think that is? do you mean because it doesn't fit in with their dogmatic world view?
