dan larimer - charcoal (part II)
hello steemians!
so i got around to working for a couple of more hours on the dan larimer charcoal portrait. and like i said i have huge respect for the guy and i really wanna finish. its gonna take another session at least so i guess there will be a part III.
also your amazing reaction to the first part got me motivated to return to it, otherwise i am renowned for my procrastination abilities, so thanks a lot friends!
*progress made today
*where i was at the end of part I
*lemme just dilute that dirty uncertain shading and enhance some unclear features, bridge of nose, eyes, mouth etc
*more shading on nose and eybrows ridge, the iris needs to be smaller. cheeks and neck shading also revised.
*and guess what, yes, even more shading! getting heavy under the chin, right cheek and under nose, and defining mouth
*blending and adding a little detail in the shading, also adding detail to the eyes
*more work on the eyes and pushing in some darker tones around the face to make it pop out a bit
*some final tone balancing. and of course the last 5 minutes dedicated to making a less grumpy cat. obviously its gonna take more than 5.
thanks for droping by, hope you enjoyed it (:
part III coming a.s.a.p.
